Steve: Condolences to your and your family. The info I read on your dad shows that he was a true American hero. Although I never met him, I can see his handiwork in you. Knowing you off and on these last 40 years I can see how the apple didn't fall far from the tree. He was a good man and I'm sure he was very proud of you and all your accomplishments, I'm sure you made him smile. Jan and I have you in our prayers and we hope that over time your hurt diminishes. Take care.

Dear Stephen (Doc),
I am so sorry I didn't learn of your daddy passing until just a few minutes ago. Had I known, I would have joined you in support in your time of grief. I know you loved, respected and admired him. My thoughts are with you and may the memories of your fine father mitigate your sorrows of his loss.

Steve and Family, I am so sorry for your loss. "Ed" hired me at Gateway National Bank when I first came to Beaumont in 1959. He and your Mom took me under their wing and looked out for me. It is an honor to have known him. He was the kindest, smartest, and most humble man I had the privilege to know. God Bless you and your family. Jeri Segura

John and I extend our deepest sympathy to Doc and all the family in your loss. My parents, Charlie and Connie Brocato, were customers at Gateway Bank when they owned Charlie's Grocery. What a legacy he leaves behind.
