William "Little Billy" Robert Horton

I was Billy's "speech teacher", as he called me, while he was at Central Middle School in Nederland and remember him well. He was such a sweet, loving boy who wanted more than anything to please. He loved his sisters and his Dad with a passion and talked about them all the time and in turn, his family loved him back with the same intensity. Billy had a lot to say and never met a stranger. He is one student I will never forget because he taught me so much just by being Billy. I am grateful to have had the chance to get to know one of God's special angels. He will be missed greatly. Please know that others share in your sorrow and care very much.

I am so saddened to hear of your loss. Billy was truly a beautiful little boy. I loved the time I spent with him at Highland Park. He will always hold a very special place in my heart. My deepest prayers and sympathy to you all.
