I'm so sorry for the loss of such a precious child. He passed through the second grade class at FBC Nederland, and it was my pleasure to be able to help teach him. He will be missed.

So sorry to hear on Facebook of your precious son passing away. I used to attend church with Cindy Watkins and saw her post. As a younger sister of a mentally retarded sister, I know the special place Billy held in your heart and in your family. They are a challenging blessing. They teach us more than we could ever teach them, like how to love others like Jesus does. Rejoicing that he can now tell Jesus how much he loves Him in heaven, and trusting that the Lord has a master plan when he gave him to you and when he took him home. God Bless! Angie Craft, Houston

My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this sad time. I will always remember Billy fondly and have wonderful memories of the time spent with him during his elementary years. Billy never met a stranger, ever friendly and sweet! He will be missed!

Heaven has gained a beautiful angel. Who better to hug but our Lord Himself.
"Parents hold their children's hands for just a little while.. their hearts forever".

Dr. Horton and family. Your hearts are broken at this time as would anyone with the loss of a child, brother grandchild and friend. I enjoyed Little Billy at Highland Park. I had the oppurtunity to work with him. He would always make our day. The smiles, hugs and things he had to say made us laugh. When I would see him out and about he would always yell and wave as I went by. God has choosen another special angel. My prayers will be with you all during the days to follow. God will wrap his arms around you and be by your side.RIP Little Billy

So sorry to hear of Billy's passing . Please accept my deepest sympathy. I'll never forget the summer camps spent with him at Clubhouse Daycare. I was blessed to work closely with Billy for a couple of years.... He sure livened the place up. I can still hear him ask where his Lauren was if she left the room, Or coming to my desk to tell me a story. My prayers are you with and your family.
