As a young child I knew David as "Funny David". He was a wonderful friend to my parents Tommy and Jan LeBlanc. I shall always have very fond memories of "Funny" David and the laughter that he brought to so many people. . His family are in my thoughts and prayers.

David was my first supervisor at Mobil Oil back in the fall of 1989 and he was a pure pleasure to work with. He welcomed me to Beaumont and made me fell like one of the family from day one. Our prayers are with your family during this time of loss, Dennis Mudd, class of '85 Gigem

I am genuinely sorry to hear of Dave's passing. I just heard of the event today, so was not able to come in person to sign the guess book or attend his funeral. I worked with Dave 30 years ago when I was at the refinery and again last year on another project at RDS. He was always a pleasure to work with and I will miss him.

Mr. Bailey is the standard that everyone, at work, used to measure themselves, their work ethic, and their projects by. He never had a problem speaking his mind, or giving good advice. I will miss him. My prayers go out to his family.
Thank you Mr. Bailey.

I have just learned of David's passing and am saddened by the loss of a fine man and friend.
David and I first met in 1979 while I was working for Triangle Engineers. He would take vacation days to come in and "moonlight" generating instrument specifications. Later, at Mobil, he was the client and I was the Project Manager as we engineered and built a depropanizer unit within Gas Compression Plant 3. We became good friends and even shared an evening together trying to adjust the carburetors on his daughter's MGB. We ran out of beer and gasoline before ever succeeding in making the car run properly. In the years to come, after David had retired from Mobil, we found ourselves working together at Matrix Engineering and finally Richard Design Services.
I always greeted him with "Howdy Ag". He was a wonderful person, great engineer and will surely be missed by all. Goodbye, my friend!
