To the entire FONDREN family: I have known Mrs. Fondren all my life. She & my mother, Elvira Vergara, were SS friends as well as WMU friends. Mrs. Fondren was one of my SS teahers growing up. I also believe she was one of my Bible Drill teachers in Training Union on Sunday nights. Mr. Fondren & my daddy, Felipe Vergara, were good friends as they were all employed by the neighboring refineries. I thank God for Christian parents who raised us in the knowledge of Jesus Christ. our parents

so sorry for your loss and sadness. You know where your loved one is and that she is happy and at peace now but it still leaves a big big hole in your life. She was an example of Christian love at it's finest and for that I know you are proud. Love you .... Janis Conkle

We are sorry for your loss. We all have been blessed by the exceptional parents that "Big Mama" gave us. Quiet but with strong convictions regarding honesty, integrity, forgiveness and compassion. I miss Aunt Ella Mae, Mom and Uncle "Dub'. A finer trio has never lived or been loved as much. Lindsey and Colleen, Brooke and Todd

Ella Mae was a wonderful aunt, friend, christian lady and enjoyed a love of life. She always made me feel that I was special to her. She touched so many lives. My life is richer for having known her. Her faith in God and her love of her family was exceptional. She never gave up and taught us to live life at the fullest. God bless you Charles, Winnie and Glenda and your families may God supply your every need. Love, Johnnie Faye

Dear Glenda and Charles and family, I was so sorry to hear of Mrs. Fondren's death. However, she is now reunited with Mr. Fondren and is now rejoicing with the angels in Heaven. She is now reaping the rewards of teaching Sunday School for so long and touching the lives of many. She has received her crown and Christ has welcomed her to His mansion in Glory. Treasure all your precious memories of her and be assured that you will see her again in Heaven. The Vergara family loved her dearly.
