Ben Hanks

Hearing this truly breaks my heart. I met Ben while we were in the Academy at Lamar. I ended up getting sick and was not able to finish. After I became a Medic we reconnected. I am truly at a loss. Brother you will be missed. May God wrap your family in his arms... Godspeed my friend..

Our Class of 1988 has truly lost another great soul- Benny's smile you could see for miles- He was always very sweet every time we ran into him- all the childhood school memories we all had with him- late night parties- the beach- just hanging out with our close friends will always be in our memories- RIP until we meet again-Prayers for his family

He was such a good person. I am happy that I had the opportunity to work with him at Nederland High School! My prayers are with his entire family!

Janell and Pete I am so sorry for the loss of Ben. He was a wonderful person. The last time I saw him was at the Heritage Festival and he lit up when he saw me and gave me a big hug. I am praying God will flood you both with His love during this time and long after.

I am so sorry to hear about Ben- he will be missed. I remember many fun times as a kid swimming over at his house and seeing him at Nanna Janell's Christmas Parties. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
