So saddened to hear this news. I knew Ben when he was "our officer" at Nederland High School. His friendly face always brightened the day at work. He will be missed by so many whose lives he touched in our community.

A person that departs from this earth never truly leaves, for they are still alive in our hearts and minds, through us, they live on.
