Dear Amy, Madison, Dalton: Just sending you my thoughts and prayers during this time of overwhelming sadness. None of us have the perfect words to say at this time...but just know that we are praying for you that God will be so real to you in the days and weeks ahead! Chad, the idea that you're gone is so surreal. I will certainly miss your smile, your laugh and of course, your keen sense of humor that we shared. I will miss our July 4th's, just simply having supper with you and being in your presence. I thank you for your dedication to the Mont Belvieu Police Department and your chosen profession. We have lost a treasured police officer and friend. I pray that you have found that peace that passes all understanding, that only our God can give. I also pray that the ones you've left behind experience that same peace and comfort in the days to come. May you rest in peace, my friend.

Chad your passing has taken a toll on those who knew you and loved you. A toll you could never have imagined. I pray for you, and I pray for your family, that they may find peace and comfort in knowing that everything happens for a reason, a reason only God knows, but will be revealed to us at a point in time at the Lord's perfect timing. You are missed by all that were blessed to come into contact with you and get to know you, and I pray we will meet again on the streets of gold where there will be no more pain and suffering. Rest easy my friend.

Chad, you were a great, GOD fearing man. You my friend will be dearly missed. R.I.P. my brother from a different mother. I will see you on the other side. Please tell my mother and dad hello for me, and enjoy her GREAT Cajun cooking. My friend I will continue to pray for peace, and structure in your little family. The LORD, will truly watch over your children at this time and for all of their days. Peace my brother, and again, R.I.P.
