Dear Glenn and Carolyn:

I just learned today of your Mom's passing and I am so sorry to hear that news. Your Mom was an awesome lady and such a great friend to me and my family from the moment we moved next door to you so many years ago. I am quite sure that she and your Dad and my Mom and Dad are having a wonderful reunion. You will be in my prayers as I know the huge void it will leave in your lives.

I can still hear the delight in your voice the last time we spoke, and I am so grateful to God for that phone call of "I love you and I miss you". Your love is bigger than this earth and will continue to shine down on us from Heaven where you are now enjoying God's everlasting peace and joy. I just know that there was a gigantic welcome home party in Heaven for you this week (maybe even with chocolate cake and polka dancing!) Until we meet again, know that I am loving you and will always remember you, Sweet, Beautiful Aunt Evelyn.

Dear Glenn and Carolyn,
I know that today, Nov. 21, 2014, is a special milestone day in your family. It is the 75th Wedding Anniversary of Evelyn and Roy Watz! My, don't you know there is a celebration of Heavenly proportions going on where they are!
Evelyn and I shared the importance of Nov. 21 in our lives as Paul and I were also married on this date. Today is our 50th Wedding Anniversary!
In 1989, Evelyn attended our 25th Anniversary Mass and reception, and Paul and I were guests at the wonderful and authentic Czech celebration that the two of you hosted for your parent's 50th.
You were blessed with parents who had a strong and loving commitment to each other! Together again, that commitment continues.

Carolyn & Glen,
I am so, so sorry to learn of the loss of your precious mother. She was an absolute delight, and always beamed when she spoke of her children. May your many special memories give you comfort in the sad days which lie ahead.

I loved all the times we got to see her sweet smile and talk with her while eating at the Green Beanery! One of my favorite meals in Beaumont! May God be extra sweet to you during this time!

Evelyn was a true Southern Lady and such a joy to be around...she will be greatly missed!
