So sorry to hear the sad news. May God continue to bless and keep you all in the comfort of His arms. Always remember how he would help with our Algebra when we were 'stuck' in high school.

Mr. Shimek was a wonderful man, and I have wonderful memories of him from our childhood. He is very loving and sweet, and always treated me like family. Our prayers go out to you and your family. Love you all. Shannon

Larry will be missed. Last time we talked we discussed a little about old times and current events. Larry was a very smart guy and interesting to visit with. I am sure he is now in a wonderful place that we will meet again. God Bless the family and friends that will miss him.

So sorry to hear of Larry's passing. He was a great guy, very nice and friendly, and I respected him very much.

We went through school with Larry and graduated with him from French High. Larry was very friendly and warm and cared about our class. We are very sorry to hear of him passing away. We send our deepest sympathy and prayers to all the family.

We are deeply sorry to hear of Larry's passing. But, it is comforting to know he will be reunited with Big Dave.

The FHS class of 1964 has lost a very sweet man. I would see him at the bowling alley and he would tell me what to do to bowl better. He will be missed. Prayers and Love to his family.

I, along with all our French High School class of 1964 will greatly miss Larry. He was always friendly to everyone and had a smile whenever you met him. I remember him as being a really nice guy in school and my sincere condolence to his family in the loss of their love one.
