How often do you find someone who truly lives his life at home and as a businessman in an ethical, honest, and in the true way that the Lord would want us to live...not often...but this is our perception as well as experience with Alton Laird.
We did business for many years with Alton and always knew we would never have a problem with our automobiles afterwards, and if there was, he would always make it right (of course, these were few and far between). He will truly be missed in the Community..Our prayers are with his family.

Our sincere condolences to the Baird Family and everyone at Alton's Automotive. Alton was such a dear friend to the Better Business Bureau. He was never too busy to provide sage advice and sound council regarding automotive repair issues. We learned so much from him and will always be grateful!

Alton also had a wonderful sense of humor. I will never forget him telling me,"That guy sounds like he is a few fries short of a happy meal".

Alton was my first employer after I moved to Texas from Iowa several years ago. He liked to give me a hard time about being a yankee and loved to kid me about my accent. I remember his love for his family. He was very proud of his girls. Whenever I hear C.A.S.A. in the news, I would always think of him and all he did for them. I'm sorry for your loss.

Alton was a shining light with his welcome smile, good humor and helping hand. I met Alton early in my career at CASA, when he shared his desire to help our children in foster care. Over the next 14 years he worked diligently and faithfully to support them donating thousands through Car Pros for Kids. What is more he was their spokes person in the community. Alton became a trusted caring friend over the years, sharing his faith and encouragement and enriching my life and that of hundreds of children. Rest in peace dear friend. Lanis McWilliams
