Praying for Mrs. Nau's family for peace and comfort. I was a choir student of Mrs. Nau's at Central Jr. High. Thank you, Mrs. Nau for your dedication to our community, schools and kids of Big Ned. I am in awe and humbled of the inspiration you were and the difference you made in so many lives. What a wonderful life and life well lived!

It is so difficult to believe that someone so full of life and who brought so much joy to others is no longer with us. Although she is physically gone, I will remember that fabulous smile and hear that beautiful laugh forever. She is the music in my heart. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and those who loved her.

Twyla Nau was a blessing to my life and many others. Her smile, her love, the joy of teaching and caring for each student, her faith in God, and her beautiful soprano voice that radiated the joy within her. What a beautiful woman!

Besides her great talent in music, Frau Nau was an excellent German teacher for many years. When her students enrolled in my German classes at Lamar University, they were always very well prepared and spoke highly of her.
It is a great tribute hat she received so much praise and support from her students and community during her illness.
