I went to work at American Valve & Hydrant in April of 1976...very young and very immature. 40-1/2 years later I am still here at AVH and still remain in awe of Mr. Y. He was such a strong leader for our company and fought for us to have a company we could be proud of and for us to want to stay and prosper, while helping AVH as well as the community prosper. He demanded our best and we all wanted nothing more than to do our best. He earned our respect, and he inspired us to be better employees and better people. He is one of those rare, inspirational humans that you just thought would always be there. His passing will leave a void in our lives that will be hard to fill. Goodbye Mr. Y....you will be missed.
