Josephine Barras

May I offer my wishes for all family and friends of this wonderful woman who touched so many lives during a lifetime of giving.

It's hard for us to find words that might bring you comfort at this time of loosing Josie, but perhaps just knowing that we are thinking of you with sympathy and understanding will somehow help to give you strength at this difficult time.
We will miss our dear friend and neighbor. The weekly calls to Katy will be in our memories. May Josie rest in peace, free of pain and painting the clouds.

David and Randy,
So sorry we cannot be with you. We had a wonderful afternoon with Josie in August and cherish our memories of that visit.
Josie taught me how to paint landscapes and about the "secret" ingredient she added to her mole' sauce. I will never forget to add the peanut butter.
I have so many fond memories of our times together.

I have known her for years and she has always been one of the nicest people I have ever met.

I had the pleasure of getting to know Josie while working at Regina-Howell. She was always such a kind and gentle person. She did a painting of a girl and horse for me that I still treasure. She loved her family dearly. My deepest sympathy to them all. I feel fortunate that our lives crossed paths.

What a special soul. I remember Mrs Barras always had a kind word and a smile on hand whenever I saw her. She was gracious and an all around sweetheart. Our most sincere condolences.

I always was excited to visit with your mother on every trip we made from Houston when I was younger. She was unlike any other person because she always wanted to laugh, even if it was at herself. I hope you always remember how much joy she brought to everyone just by being herself.

I am so sorry for your loss. I do not have to tell you what a wonderful person , mother and great neighbor she was to me, Doug and Holly. There are lots of great memories on Blanton Place . I pray that you will find the strength and peace to get through this. Your Mom was a strong lady and you will be too.
Find some peace that she is pain free, in the arms of Jesus and your father. Miss you two....You two, also, will be in my prayers.....Luv Sassy

It has been a while since I talked to your Mom. She was a very special person and a good friend. I am so very sorry for your loss. I did talk to her some time last year.
I talked to her to see how she was doing. Time gets away quickly. I hope you and your families are doing well. We were close friends when you were younger and we lived across the street. Randy, your mother and I and Richard. Your dad was my brother=in=law's cousin. We had lots of good times together when we lived across the street. I have lots of good memories of your mother and dad.
