Shirley, you are in my thoughts and prayers. Melvin was such a funny, sweet guy, and I know that this is a tremendously sad time for you. Just know that all of your Greenie friends are here for you whenever you need us.

Melvin will be missed by all who knew him, he was a dear sweet man with a warm soul. Matt & I will miss seeing him.

My heart and prayers go out to you and your family in this sad time. Uncle Mel sounded like a one of a kind. May all of his wonderful memories fill that empty space in your heart.

I love you Uncle Mel, you have always been a great big part of my life and I will miss you for the rest of my time on this earth. Your sense of humor of love of life was nothing short of inspirational. Wish we could take in one more game at Minute Maid and night of partying after. I will always think of you saying "Of all things Ive lost, I miss my mind the most". Aunt Shirley, you are my immediate family so get used to all the drama of living with us. Love you to the moon and back and we are here to hang out with when you feel alone. Or even when you would like to be alone, we are still gonna be all around.

My prayer is that God will comfort the family of Mr. Sparks as they remember and celebrate his life.
