Dear Aunt Jo and Andrea,
Words cannot express the sadness I feel over Uncle Tommy's passing. I have a million happy childhood memories of times at the Cape, Newfound Lake, Newton and beyond. As an adult, I have always loved your visits and most recently spending time at the ranch and in San Antonio.
What a colorful man and life! Hang on to all of your cherished memories as I will.
Love and peace to you,
Nancy

To Jo and Andrea: my every thought has been with you both during the past few days. The loss is huge, but the comfort is that the phenomenal memories will remain.
As others have posted, I feel the same... The Vance-Mathews years were literally the time of my life. Tom Vance made going to work FUN and the enthusiasm was so contagious, we all felt it. We were all lucky to be employed there and learn from a man that lived life with such passion and GUSTO.
My heart is broken for you guys, but I also smile thinking of the glorious reunion that took place on Saturday between father and son.
My love and prayers are with both of you.

Jo, Andrea and extended Family: My sincere condolences go out to you for your loss. Tommy was always a man's man and one with earned respect. I am sure he had quite a welcome up above after being greeted by the Big Guy. Behind the Big Guy was family friends and business associates that have left this earth before him. And knowing Tommy, he is not short on words or stories to share with them all. God Bless him and ya'al. Best Wishes and Caring Thoughts from Chicago.
