I got to know "Doc" the last few years. What a honor it was. We had some good conversations, and he even shared some of his recipes with me. A most generous, kind, and overall wonderful person ( and boss). He loved his family every one of them . We had many talks about the "boys" and the grandchildren. He was proud of them all., as well he should be. May God give the family peace and comfort during these stressful times. I, love you "Doc" and will miss you very much.

" Doc" was one of the finest men, we've ever known. He was our friend, and will be greatly missed by us and all that knew him. We thank God for the honor of getting to be his friend. He was truly a good, kind, and caring, man.

I had the honor and privilege of working with Dr. Bessell before he retired. He was an outstanding doctor. As a Health Care Professional, we share your loss and pray for your peace. May God Bless each of you.

For Dr. Bessell: Yours was a life well lived, an amazing example for others. I am reminded of the scripture...Mathew 25:21 (KJV) - His lord said unto him, "Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord".

For Your Family: I will be forever grateful that our community, and our family, had Dr. Bessell as a most compassionate and caring orthopedic surgeon.

Sincerely,
Nancy Carreon

My husband (Jimmy Ray Sullivan) and I both loved Dr. Bessell. He would hunt on the ranch where we lived and enjoyed visits with him. He was also our Dr. on several occasions. We are sorry for your loss.

One of the brightest and most concientious, caring physicians and one of my BEST friends ever ! A devoted family man, who loved his wife and children. Also a friend who never failed to think of others -- sharing with them his fishing knowledge and even his FISH !
I will miss him greatly .
