Aunt char, you will be forever missed. You were a one of a kind lady. God don't make them like her often. She was always smiling and laughing. Always put others before herself. She was never judgemental. And as her great niece she never looked on me&was always there with an open ear. I'm happy she is no longer suffering & able to be with uncle Jim, great grandma &grandpa & of course aunt nadine...i miss all of them but i know the Lord has plans for them all to do his work from heaven. My heart is heavy in losing u especially on mine and dad's birthday but I'm greatful for the 27 years i did get with u. Wish u would have got to meet Xavier but i know one day we will all be reunited in God's kingdom & i will be waiting patiently to hear your laughter & receive one of your hugs that's always full of warmth & love. God bless you Charlene & my thoughts & prayers are with the rest of our family. Wish i could have been there to say good bye in person. But i know u understand why i was not able to come. Love and missing you always Daniela

Her smile and her laugh are priceless. She always had a gentle and upbeat spirit, and never a frown. She always put a smile on my face and in my heart. She was one of the funniest, fun, and best persons to be around. She always was willing to lend an ear, offer hope and encouragement, and she always had a positive attitude. She would always say things like "don't worry" or "why are you so worried about that, thats stupid" and "don't sweat the small stuff" while laughing at the same time. We are all so fortunate to have had her in our life. Our family has great memories of the times spent with her and Uncle Jim in Missouri or Urbana visiting Shirley and Bud. What a hoot they all were! Good times. She will be missed, but, the good memories are the precious gifts she leaves us with. May god be with her family and give them strength in the days to come. My Love to all of you, Cindy

You always knew how to make people smile. I will miss knowing that you are still there in Beaumont. I would always try to figure out which state you were in visiting family.

Aunt Char, you are an amazing woman and a spirit of strength and laughter. Every memory I have of you was a smile and a hug of course. You always made those you love feel your warmth and care. Time goes by so fast that before we know it we are all older, wiser and extended families grow more and more. days turn into weeks, into months then into years....I love you and miss you so much and now all I can do is make you proud by shining in this life as you always did in ours and, of course, take care of my babies and their babies. Just as I've been taught. God bless our family and give them strength to go forward with pride and love. Pain is gone and now you get to be with Uncle Jim and the rest of our family. <3
