I remember Rev. St Clergy and his family when we lived in Laurel Mississippi back in the early 70's. His devotion to God and the people he came in contact with has left a lasting inpression on my life. I am sorry to hear of his passing but know what a homecoming and rejoicing is going on in Heaven. Deborah I don't know if you remember me or not, but I remember you and your family. You took me under your wing and helped me to adjust to a new enviornment. For this I have been forever grateful. We lost touch when we moved away. Would love for us to get in touch sometime. I didn't see this in time to get down south for the funeral. Praying for your strength and comfort at this time. This great man of God will be sorely missed on earth but greatly welcome in Heaven. I wonder if there are accordions in Heaven's choir? What a glorious reunion happening now!

You had a wisdom that few knew you possesed but, I knew. I appreciate all the conversations, the friendship and, the passing of some of that wisdom to me. In the last two days of reflecting on the things you told me about this old world, I realize you had an insight much further and more broad than alot of us ever will and, it gives me a sense of happiness for you that you won't have to be here to see it all. Thank you Mr. Lloyd!

I'm so glad I had parents who taught me Jesus. What if I hadn't had a pastor to train me up in the right way? I'm sure I'd be of all men most miserable. I know we'll see you very soon. You'll always have my respect and love.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family. May God bless each one! Just a note, my Mother, Nancy Carroll, was a sister to Aunt Trudie Stroud.
