John and Bill -

My heart goes out to you with the loss of your mom. She was a great friend to my mother, and to me. Our families have always been connected, and we have experienced many, many memories together. I love you both, and will always remember Carolyn with love and affection.

I met Carolyn at Cypress Ace Hardware many years ago. She was a precious lady and I really enjoyed seeing her when she came to visit Bill and Susan here in Houston. She was a good cook and I was able to get some of her recipes. I tried making some of that good divinity but Bill can tell you it never came out good like hers I will miss seeing her. Her place here on earth can never be filled by anyone else. She was very special.

We will miss Carolyn's wonderful smile and her happy go lucky self around the streets of Timberlane and the shores of Toledo Bend. She brought lots of laughter and joy to her neighbors at the lake. We will keep her family in our thoughts and prayers.

Dear Bill, John and family ~ Carolyn was a wonderful friend and I could never ever begin to write all the kind and generous things she did, for me, Darrell, Tanner and Tate. I will forever be grateful that the Lord blessed me with Carolyn as a neighbor in Forest Park.
I loved her greatly and will miss her more!

I knew Carolyn from FHS and through, Gail and George. She was a real sweet lady. I know she will be missed by all who knew her and loved her.
