She has fought the good fight and now she is resting in the arms of Jesus. Betty was one of a kind. She was a good friend and never met a stranger. She will be missed by many.

This is the passing of such a wonderful person and nurse. I was just a new nurse at Mid-Jeff in 1978 and she taught me so much. She was a nurses' nurse and there are not many like her. My children knew her as "Betty B" and have fond memories of her giving them candy and entertaining them at the hospital. She was a blessing.

Betty took me under her wing and trained me as an ER nurse at Mid-Jeff many years ago. She would feed me the best home made pimento cheese sandwhiches and chocolate pie. She will be missed.

Worked with Betty back in the day at mid Jeff .she was such an awesome nurse. They just don't make nurse's like her today.
