Here we are...2 years you have been gone! I love you and miss you tremendously! I never realized how much I depended upon my big brother to watch over me and to talk things through with me. Now I talk to you and just hope I am getting things right. I love you forever, Mike…until.

Happy Birthday Mike! I hope that Mom and Dad are making your day so special. I miss you so much every day. I think it will get better and easier on my heart...but it seems the longer you are gone the harder it is. I just wish I could have helped you. Maya is doing great! She is the most loving dog I have ever had....she loves being able to run on the acreage and is a very happy dog. Sometimes, I do see her look out in the distance and I feel like she senses you. I love you my dear brother and miss you forever!

My dear brother…this year of your death is now here. I will cherish our life together forever and will always miss your sweet spirit and loving ways. I must move on now…you are always in heart! Give Mom and Dad big hugs and kisses for me...

As we approach the 1yr anniversary of your death…my love for you and my constant heartache from missing you heightens. All the "if onlys" and "what ifs" continue to haunt my thoughts. I know in my heart that you are free of all your earthly pain, sadness and sorrows and, this is the only thing that holds me up. I love you so much and, I miss you for eternity.

Rest with the Angels my dear brother...I know your Christmas was wonderful. I love you forever!

As Christmas approaches...my love for you deepens. I am Thankful you are no longer in pain and that your sorrow is done. I know Mom and Dad are taking care of you once again. I love you and miss you dearly.

Well, it has been 41 days...every evening Maya and I go out and look for the brightest stars...thank you for the wonderful gift of Maya...she is a beautiful and soulful black lab. I will take care of her "until" she can cross that bridge to you. I love you my dear brother.

My prayers are with you all. I did not know Mike but I knew Sandy and Peggy. Losing a sibling is very hard and there are no words sometimes to bring you comfort and peace. Know that many people are praying for you...my heart breaks for the journey you are walking through right now...When the pain lifts, may you cherish the beautiful memories that you have.
