Vivian was one of the most wonderfully spiritual persons I've ever known. Before Hurricane Ike we lived at Crystal Beach and attended church together. She played the piano and organ more beautifully than anyone I've ever heard. A group of us played cards together frequently and attended church functions together. I lovingly referred to her as "Mom" as she always could brighten my day and give me guidance in ways no one else could. I thank God for blessing me with her as a friend and know she's in His loving arms now.

Vivian was such a delightful lady. She had a wonderful sense of humor, and was a favorite at the beauty shop. She has left a beautiful family and friends to miss her.

What a Great Lady! We had such wonderful times together going to church at Bayvue Methodist, Crystal Beach, Tx., listening to her play the piano at church and then a group of us would go to my home at the beach, eat lunch and play cards all day. After the storm Ike when we all scattered to other places, we would get together at my home in Beaumont, pick up Vivian and still play cards even after she turned 101. She loved the Lord so much, read her Bible diligently and probably will have lots to discuss with Him.

Dear Talley family, I was so sorry to learn of Viv's passing, but oh what a life she lead! 102 years young. I have such fond memories of her when we lived in Grand Lake. Quite the lady. Love the picture of her. Rejoice in her long life even while I know there is sorrow in your hearts. Vic joins me in wishing you the best. RIP lovely Vivian.
