The first time I met Ms. Breaux she treated me as if she had knowing me for years. Every time I talked to her at Our Lady of the Pines, she would smile and you can definitely tell the love she had for every one. She went to a better place. I thank God for knowing her in this life.

Few people have touched me like Mama Breaux. She has always had a big smile, a hug and a kind word for me. I will always have very fond memories of her and how she selflessly shared her love. I am sorry that we are unable to attend her memorial. Darren, Michele, Sheila and Michael, my family is praying for yours.

I met Illa Mae and her brothers and sisters in 1944, She was always a fantastic person, hard working, responsible and lovable. She was a true and loyal friend. We did things together and enjoyed each others company. She was a good friend to all. All who knew her loved her. She will forever be in my heart, will always remember her beautiful smile.

Illa was a great lady. The first time I met her was when my son became the pastor of Our Lady of Pines Church five yrs. ago. She always greeted me with love and her smile. I'll never forget her and how she love my son. Rest in peace my friend in Christ.
