I remember when we first moved to Bevil Oaks. She and her family greeted my family with open arms. I remember riding our bikes down what seemed to be an enormous driveway. Of course when you are young everything seems to be extremely large, but like her personality, it was was big too. Anyone who knew Mrs. Breaux knew she was a very devout catholic and it showed in her everyday life. I am sad to hear of her passing and will miss her strong hugs at church and that cajun accent. We all know she is in a much better place, so cherish every moment you have in this life because you only get one chance. Fortunately, I am blessed to still have both of my parents. You were also quite to the salesperson. The year you sold the Easter eggs for the church made completely of sugar, I gave to my mother. To this day, it sets with the rest of her religious memorabilia. Mrs. Breaux I will miss you and that great big smile. You were a beautiful woman inside and out. If you only knew what an impact you had on so many lives and it shows in the way you reared your children. Our sympathy to your family and the many people who will miss you.
Love, Kathy Callahan
