I knew Burton as a student and later encou8ntered him in Beaumont and at A&M. He was a great Aggie, a worthy representative, personally as well as professionally. Bob, I'm so sorry . You have been a worthy son, and I admire you for what you are and what you have done. You are a worthy son. God bless you.Jarvis.

We knew Burt only by his stellar reputation, and know that we missed something very special by not knowing him personally. I had the distinct pleasure of meeting Midge as a fellow Beaumont Aggie Mom President: such an honor. Your fine legacy continues in your children: I was definitely blessed by graduating from FHS in 1972 with Bob, and catching up a few times since then. I know that you are proud of Bob and the man he has become. Bob is the only person I know who is successfully working in the career he had chosen by high school!! Our prayers are with you as you walk this road we know so well.

Burt French, one of nature's noblemen, to the manner born, a most wonderful man, will be sorely missed but not forgotten. Imprinted on our memories will remain his warm smile, kind, polite demeanor, and sense of humor. Thank you for sharing Burt with those of us in your Calder family, Midge. Love to you and your family,
Gwen

Burt French was such a lovely man...full of smiles and always giving lots of joy. He was truly a pleasure to know. Your family has had a treasure for 86 years, and just remember that you will be reunited with him again in heaven when he will be well and perfect. May God's love comfort you. Love, The Kensinger family
