I'm here again. It's been one of those weeks where I would call you and you would always make me feel better. I'm praying for clarity and trying to sort through feelings. You always helped me maintain my direction and I miss you so very much. We had so many plans and this was never, ever a part of them. Waiting for more signs from you. Had one already and it made me realize I was heading in the right direction. Keep sending them...I'm waiting. I can't believe all of this still. Miss you every minute of every day. x

Darla was a special part of our family, and I will always remember her "good-hearted" laugh!

The pastor at my pappa's funeral said something that brought comfort to my broken heart. I share it with you now, as I hope that it will do the same for you. He said, "As long as you have memories of someone, they never really die."
