Reva, I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your Dad. He must have been a great Father to live for 91 years. I can't recall meeting your sister but if she is anything like you he was proud of you both. Reva, I also want to thank you for all your help in answering questions about insurance, taking messages, and helping find me when an emergency came up with my wife or HER kids. How did we survive before cell-phones? Joe

I heard today that Mr. and Mrs. Boyd had both passed away. I meet the Boyd's at Walgreen's in Beaumont when I worked there in the cosmetic department. We became friends the four years I worked there and I enjoyed many visits in the store and later many phone calls after I no longer worked there. No ONE could talk like Mr. Boyd!!! He and his wife Helen will always have a special place in my heart . No man was ever proud of his family like this man, he loved his family so much and talk about them every chance he got. I am truly sorry for your loss and you are in my thoughts and prayers. Love, Beth

Dear Mary Lou, Tony, Reva, Robert, Erick, Codi & girls, I was so sad to hear about Uncle Fran's passing. He was a big part of my childhood and I remember him and Aunt Helen visiting every Friday. He always sat with us and talked to us about family stories and stories about his life. I also remember how he and my father went Christmas shopping together every year! He was always fun to be around. I am sad that he has passed, but find comfort in the fact that he is with Aunt Helen and his family in Heaven, and I hope that you find comfort in that also. Love to you all.

Dear Mary Lou and Reva Our deepest sympathy to you and your families. We have such fond memories of your parents; cooking chicken, sitting in the yard, Mom complaining about Dads smelly cheese, your Dad'smile and laugh..most of all the wonderful friendship and support they gave me. As Lee said he will always be " Uncle Fran" to us.
Love, Carol, Rick, Lee, Darlene, Fran, and Danae

Marylou, Reva and families, we are so very sorry for your loss. Joe & I both share wonderful memories of Uncle Fran and all the good times and family gatherings we had over the years. It was truly a blessing to my family that we had Uncle Fran and Aunt Helen as next door neighbors for years on Baynes St. Uncle Fran was always there when we needed him. Our daughters, Amy, Lori and Erin and their families all agree that although we are all sorrowful at Uncle Fran's passing, we are joyful that he is reunited with our dear Aunt Helen. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Our memories will last forever.

Uncle Fran was apart of so many of my childhood memories. Every Friday night, I remember Uncle Fran coming over to our house and visiting while Aunt Helen would get her hair done. I enjoyed listening to stories about the war and his family memories. He was the most patriotic man that I have ever met. He truly loved God and his country. He loved Aunt Helen and they both took such good care of each other. I am so glad that I was able to visit Uncle Fran and Aunt Helen a couple times while visiting Texas. We will miss him very much but find comfort in knowing that he has joined Aunt Helen again in Heaven. We love you all and will be praying for your comfort. Love, Erin and Nick

All my sympathy to my friend Reva and her husband Robert on the loss of both of Reva's parents so very recently. Reva is such a kind and generous friend and has been such wonderful comfort to me during the last year after the death of my dear husband, my brother-in-law and my little dog Tracie. May we all enjoy such wonderful friends in our lives.

My earliest memories of Uncle Fran was of he and my Dad fishing and getting up early to get to a certain fishing spot. They exchanged war stories often and he was proud of his service. Uncle Fran taught me to drive a car and was very patient with me. He engaged Dale Baker and me to "help" remove the old roof on the garage at 18 Baynes and install the new oine. It was dirty tough work. Aunt Helen and Uncle Fran were always kind and communicated regularly after I moved from Buffalo. They kept me connected. It was fun to have them nearby for a few years while we were in Beaumont and resumed some family agtherings there. He had a long and loving marriage and a good life. May he rest in peace and rise in Glory.
