I will always remember the smile she had and the smiles she put on others faces. I remember my kids going to stay with her one summer and she took them swimming in this little concrete pond. They still remember how much fun they had at Aunt C.C.'s house! We will all miss her.

The beautiful picture posted is a miniscule reflection of her inner beauty. She was giving to any and all that needed help. She had a love for her family that could reach to the stars and back. My sister, my friend, my confidante has left this earth but, will forever be in my heart. Soar with giant angel wings and continue saving helpless animals and people in need my beloved sister.

Bruce,
Like you, Charlene had such a big heart and a wonderful attitude towards animals. It was one of the beautiful parts to her personality.
May she rest in peace.

I am so sad to read this. I had the honor of meeting & serving as Ambassdor to Charlene when I worked at Pine Arbor Nursing Center. Her and I just "clicked". She was just "one of a kind". She will ever hold a place in my heart and I am blessed for having known her.
To Charlene's family ~~ my heart, thoughts and prayers go out to each of you during this sad and diffficult time.
RIP CHARLENE ~~ Walk and Fly with the Angels. Much love sweet lady!
