Maurice "Maury" Meyers

Dear Arline, Ellen, Peggy, Nancy, Jamie, and Casey,

My heart goes out to all of you on Maury's passing. May the love he had for each of you continue to surround your hearts. May your shared memories bring laughter and tears. I hope he and my dad are gearing up for their next poker game. We have lost two extraordinary men this year. My prayers are with you.

My condolences to Mr. Meyers' family. He was my coach in the Gateway Optimist Pony League in 1963 and 1964. The field was not far from his business on 4th Street. I respected him then and throughout his career. He will be missed.

I didn't know your dad personally, but certainly have admired him and his vision for many years. I loved reading the tribute (obituary) your family wrote in his honor. He must have been a truly wonderful man for his family so say such heartfelt things about him. A few of the statements made me laugh a little. I am so sorry for your loss, but what memories you have to comfort you and what a legacy has been left for you to share and build on. You are blessed to have had a dad that loved you so much.
