I am sad to read that Scott has passed. I have never met a nicer person than Scott. It was always a joy to receive a shipment or have a delivery picked up with Scott as the driver. Prayers for all of his family.

To the family I am so sorry for your loss. Scott was a special man. He always had a smile on his face. He worked for me for several years and customers loved him. I will miss him very much.
He loved his family very much and spoke of them often. You can't find a finer man in life than Scott Smith.
Your friend and coworker,
Anthony Theriot

Uncle Scott was & always will be my uncle! It doesn't matter about the couple of marriages & divorces he & my Aunt had or that we weren't related by blood. He made my childhood so much brighter & happier, he was my "Knight in Shinning Armor" & I was his "Little Princess". Uncle Scott always made me feel safe, he was a wonderful uncle & a wonderful father! I will always remember when GW was little he use to say "My daddy can fix a rainy day"....that's how Uncle Scott made you feel! GW & Stephanie you were so lucky to have such a wonderful father & I am truly sorry for your loss & that the grandbabies will never get to know how wonderful he was.

Scott, I keep thinking about the last time I saw you and it could not be a more perfect memory of you. You were playing the guitar and singing with that wonderful smile on your face. My prayers go out to all of your family and friends. Play on friend. Play and sing and watch over us all. I will keep your family in my heart and prayers. I can only imagine how tough this is for them.

Uncle Scott I had not seen you very often over the years, however you will always be my uncle. You could sing like nobodies business and always had a smile to welcome anyone that wanted to talk. You truely were someone I looked up to. You will be missed by many Uncle Scott.

What a life to celebrate. He did it his way that's for sure. Scott is and always will be my brother. It does not matter that we do not share genes or blood , just brother. We worked,we laughed,we cried,we married and divorced a couple of women along the way,we wrote music,we sang and leaned on each other since 1978. His body may be gone but he lives on! GW,Stephanie,Stacy my heart is out to you. St Peter better put on the coffee cause here he comes! Here's to you brother, I'm gonna miss you!

I worked with Scotty for several years. Never have I had a more dedicated and reliable employee. He spoke frequently of how much he loved his beautiful daughter. He was a good friend and I will miss him greatly. I know that he is singing in the choir in heaven. I am so sorry for your loss. God speed. Scotty.
