Zelda Daigle Wells

I worked with Zelda at the Nederland ISD Administration Building when I was in high school. She was always so nice to me and was a very funny lady. I enjoyed working with her. My condolences to her family.

God has called home an angel who made life here on earth so wonderful.

Aunt Zelda was one of the sweetest and feistiest little ladies that I know. She will be missed more than words can say. I will never forget her beautiful spirit.

Dear Granny,
I have known you as a loving and kind lady my whole life. I learned not only the way to live life to the fullest but to cherish every second of it. Everyone who has met you felt like they have known you forever. I loved coming to see you even though your fashionable style made me feel under dressed all the time. You had our backs through it all and we love you more than ever. Say "Hi" to everyone in Heaven for me.

I was already married to your grandson when we first met. I flew into Houston without Chris because he was deployed and couldn't make the trip. Judy drove me to Nederland and I was a nervous wreck. We walked in and you hugged me before Judy could introduce us, then you held me at arms length looked at Judy and said she'll do just fine. Welcome to the family and you have been my Grannie ever since. I will miss your grace and beauty everyday. I love you.

Lots of fond memories of times with your mom and family. She was such a wise and gracious lady and I will always hold a very special place in my heart for her. May God be with you all during this difficult time.

We were so sorry to hear about the loss of Zelda. She had such a sweet loving soul, and was lovely lady in the truest sense. We were blessed to have called her family, and are richer for having known her.
