Rest in peace Mrs. Callahan. Thank you for everything you did for all of us at French High School. You always had a smile but had your own way of making us settle down and work hard. You will always be rememebered as one of the best educators I have ever known.

My sister, my friend has made her final transition. Peace be Still. I will be forever grateful for the times God allowed us to spend together. Her joyful, infectious smile is a legacy she shared with us all. May God open wide His arms and embrace her family in their fold and give them comforting peace. God bless all of you is my prayer. I was heart broken to hear about Joyce, She was an awesome woman & I'm so blessed to have her call me a friend. She always had a smile for everyone. She had the gift of making people feel comfortable. I know she is in heaven with Mildred & Pat M. She will be greatly missed. I will see you again my friend.

To Joyce's family my sincerest condolences. It was my honor and joy to know Joyce. She was such an inspiration, I love the way she grabbed life with both hands. Always ready to go and always with that gorgeous smile on her face. I met Joyce through Red Hatting, we were in several chapters together and went on many adventures. I am torn that her journey has ended, my head is rejoicing that she is HOME but my selfish heart wants her back. Being a Christian my head will convince my heart. I am just so grateful that God allowed Joyce to waltz through my life and I will never forget all the wonderful times we shared. I also know I will see her again! Wrapping her family, Pat Duncan, Rebecca Guess and all that knew and loved her in healing, comforting prayers. Thank you again my dear friend for all the precious memories. <3

Joyce Callahan was the "Sunshine of our Lives" as she brighten up all of our lives in the Red Hat Society community! She was such a joy to be around. Joyce always was smiling, laughing, and just enjoying life to the fullest! She will surely be missed by all of us and I am glad to have been blessed by God by bringing her into my life. Joyce was an awesome lady who loved life and her fellowship with others! She will truly be missed by all those who crossed her path. She is now shopping in heaven's big thrift shop!

Joyce is such a treasure and inspiration for living. I am so glad God put her in my life - just not long enough. She has enriched me with her joy, smiles and love of everyone. She will be missed by so many that knew and loved her. I look forward to the day we will all come together again.
