Dear Janie & Family, I was sorry to learn of your recent loss. Gene had fought the good fight. He had walked with You, Lord, & on Sunday You invited him to come home with you to see what You had prepared for him. What a glorious homecoming for him to meet You, Lord face to face & walk the streets of gold. I ask that the Lord continue to watch over each of you in the days ahead that you may have peace & comfort as He carries you through the days ahead. Love to each of you Pattie

Uncle Gene's picture captures perfectly the jovial spirit he shared with others. He was thankful for the blessings of 64 years with his beautiful wife, Janie, his three wonderful children and their families and his loving"church family". Service to his heavenly Father, family and friends fulfilled his daily life. I cherish the memories of spending summers with the Olivers and many Fuller Family Reunions at their "Camp". I am comforted by the feeling that Uncle Gene is resting in the arms of his Lord and Savior---and still smiling down on us!

Dear Janie, Kenneth, David & Karen, Sorry we can't be there with you to celebrate Uncle Gene's life tomorrow. Please know ya'll and Uncle Gene will be in our thoughts and prayers. The picture is great and that's how I choose to remember Uncle Gene - always smiling, laughing and cutting up. Also all the good times we used to have at the "camp". We will all miss him. Take care. All our love to ya'll.

The holidays we spent together growing up were truly special times that I'll always cherish. Uncle Gene was always "upbeat"& made everything more fun. We will miss him, but He has gone home to be with The Father. We'll see him again someday.
Aunt Janie, Kenneth, David & Karen: We love you & will keep you in our prayers.

Although I have not been able to see Uncle Gene for a number of years, I've kept in touch with him and Aunt Janie by phone and email. I have many great childhood memories of Uncle Gene. So sad that he has passed, but thankful that he is no longer suffering. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of the family.
Love - Marcia and Rick

WE send our sincerest sympathies to your whole family. Mr. Gene was quite a gentleman! The picture you chose for his obituary is "him" to a tee!!! The man had personality!! Paula has many fond memories of both Janie and Gene. What a special couple who were both so caring and giving of their time to all people. Mr. Gene gave so much of himself to his church. He was a great role model for his grandchildren. He will be missed.
