Robert "Gene" Eugene Oliver

Gene was always an outgoing and fun guy. I have fond memories of many hours spent at their warm and welcoming home and Gene playing basketball with Ken's buddies and regaling us with amusing stories. He was a pretty good shot as I recall. I know he will be missed. My deepest sympathy to all the family.

Our sincerest condolences go out to the family of Mr. Oliver. He was a fantastic individual and a kinder more gentler man just didn't exist. We and all his friends & all of his Church family at FUMC will sincerely miss him.
Rest in peace, Mr. Oliver.

I will always keep in my heart the wonderful memories of our great family reunions, always made better by my adoring Uncle Gene. I will miss and love him always and know that he is home now with his Heavenly Father. It comforts me to know that I will see him again one day!

We grieve the loss of such a great man and father. While we may be sad , there is also joy in knowing that his suffering is over and now his soul has been lifted up to our Lord and Savior. Uncle Gene brought us so many good memories that will always be with us. May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
