Even though Richard and I graduated together I remember him best for helping Carl Spiegel coaching the Hawks. It meant a lot when Athan's soccer coaches came to his funeral. He is waiting to say hi when Richard comes to heaven. Prayers from Paul,Cecelia and Katie Allen.

Chris, Ashley, Corey, Martha,& Tana; Rick was a wonderful person who will be missed tremendously by all who knew him. He had a wonderful spirit and loved his family more than life itself. His grandchildren meant the world to him, Cade, Lily, and Royce........he has left so many wonderful memories and stories to be passed down to you all. I know that it meant everything to hime to have his family at his side thru his illness. May God grant you the Peace that you need to endure the next few days.....life will be difficult; but you will make it thru by leaning on God and each other. Know that you are all loved by many and in their prayers each day.

I was fortunate to work with and become a friend with Richard. He set such a great example for all of us. Richard was one of the most kind and gentle persons I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. Richard was an " Angle On Earth. " To his family, thank you for sharing Richard with us. God bless all of you.

Corey,
I'm praying for the peace that passeth all understanding to wrap you in its arms during this difficult time. I've been where you are at and I know how it feels to lose a Dad. My heart goes out to you and your family.

I had the priveledge of working with Richard at the refinery. Yes, we always called him Richard. He was the best of the best operators. The Central Control operators would always say that if they heard his voice on the radio they knew everything would be OK. He was quiet, unassuming, calm, intelligent, gentle, patient beyond belief, kind and caring. The list of wonderful traits could go on forever. If everyone were like him the world would be a much better place. He was loved by many and will be missed by many.
