Geraldine "Gerri" Piccione Modica

Angela and Christina, your mother was such a beautiful and gracious lady. She was always so sweet to Jenna when she came to your home in Silsbee. You are both in our prayers.

When I received word about the services for Geraldine, it brought back to me memories of the first time I saw her---and the last. The first time was our first day of school as Freshmen at St. Anthony's and we sat in the same Homeroom but she sat across the room from me and seemed to be the most beautiful girl in the world with the sweetest smile ever.......and later when we met I knew that she was indeed one of the sweetest & prettiest young women ever.........And then there was the last time which was at a 10th year High School reunion when she swept in with long dark hair and a gorgeous long dress that took everyone's breath away. It looked like Cher was amongst us----and she still was the sweetest girl ever! Wish I could be in Beaumont when everyone gathers to remember her. I will be at Mass and my prayers will be for her.............Joe

Most of my memories of Gerri are from my childhood. JC and Gerri were a part of my life from day one. I remember when the girls were born. It was a fantastic celebration and she adored her children. She was always such a sweet, caring person and will be missed by many. I believe she is celebrating in Heaven with her family and friends that have already gone to be with the Lord. My daddy is one of them. My prayers go out to the entire family. I love you all.

Dear Angela,Christina,and J.C we are sadden to hear of Gerri's passing. She was such a sweet friend to all those that knew her. I have memories of our,St.Marks days,when sitting in church,and she walked in, thinking how beautiful she was, and not only was she beautiful on the outside,she had a sweet personality too. I will continue to pray for you all now and during the days ahead. Hold on to those beautiful memories,for they will get you through the hard times.

It is so heartbreaking to say goodbye to such a lovely, elegant and wonderful woman, but I have no doubt Heaven just became even more beautiful. I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to have known Gerri, she was a shining example of what a lady should be. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
