I was honored to have known Billy since starting school together in 1952. We were always good buddies, and enjoyed being in the band and in sports together. I had seen him for the last time in November. He told me his heart was only functioning at 30% capacity. The greater reality is that his HEART was always at 100% love for all those around him. He will always remain in my heart as a role model for caring and gentleness .
Rest in Peace my dear friend, Vic Picou

I am so sorry to hear about Billy. We were in school in Fannett and Hamshire for 12 years. One of my happy teenage memories was Billy driving Evelyn Walton and I in an old pick up truck on the back roads of Fannett. He was the nicest guy and always with a smile. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
