I was a classmate at Jennings High of Norman and DeWillia. My condolences to DeWillia and her family. I will be praying for them.

Dear Lord, Help me! I have lost the love of my life.

I can honestly say, he was my favorite uncle. I didn't have many, but I can't imagine that it would have made a difference. He always had a stern tone, but even in his most booming voice you could hear the care and concern in his voice. He always acted interested! He was a beautiful man, and certainly leaves a void. I hope the memories help heal the hearts and hurts of those closest to him. I am better for having known him, and am blessed by having had the time with him; even more for the few visits my children had with him. I love and will miss you Uncle Boone.

My heart is sad for each of you at the loss of one so special. It has been years since I have seen Norman, but always remember his smile and how he made each person feel special. We have lost a very important part of our family when we lost Norman. He was a wonderful husband to DeWillia and no one will ever be able to take care of her the wonderful way he did. He will always be in our hearts. Love, Gerry.

I know there are no words to heal the hole you all have in your hearts and your lives. I pray God’s love and angel wings surround you in this time of sorrow to give you His peace, and may you find some comfort in knowing Norman is in a much better place. He was such a big man with a great big heart and voice. I know right now that booming voice is echoing the halls of Heaven, and probably making the poor Angels tremble with fear. It won’t take long, though, for them to realize he is all bark but no bite, as anyone who was around him quickly figured out. Norman is not lost to you because he will live on in your hearts and memories forever. I love you all and you are in my thoughts and prayers.
