I am so sorry to hear the news. My parents have been close friends with Marty for years, I always looked forward to seeing him around Christmas time when I came to visit in Beaumont. He made me laugh so hard and underneath you could tell he's a deeply caring person. May God bless you and keep you all.

Childhood memories flash. How I looked up to my older cousin. I see his smile; hear his laugh; watch him trundle through a room. The peace of God is with you.
Peggy, my love and prayers for Marty, you and your family. Suellen

On occasion, Marty would advise, "Press on through the Fog", to me and many others. Thank God that he has seen the Light. May he rest in Peace and in Clarity. Love to you Peggy and your family.

Reflections on the Father of the Bride
It is with sadness that we mourn your passing. But we know our hope lies not in ashes. For yesterday a new life began, And with our Savior you now dwell in light, In a joyful time for singing.
What a glorious new dawn today must be. It is beyond all imagining. A life beyond this vale of tears, In our Father's house, with von Balthasar, In a peaceful time for reading.
We remember now your earthly works; All the good that you have done. With the Spirit and the Saints, Now continue your life's work of interceding.
Your docket again now full, Hired by the Lawgiver to go to work, A joyful effort begins today, a case that's worth the pleading, The start of that last great push.
With Our Lady, now pray for us, and we will pray for you. In God's eternal time we will not long be parted. Until then Marty, forevermore inspired we'll be, To tend the work you started.
And with your help, and many others, We can hope to meet again, In life, in law, and most of all, in love, Forever singing, we all will be, At Easter's resurrection.
