Mike became my friend 45 years ago and was my brother-in-law of 39 years. I write this with tears to say life for our family will not be the same without him. I will meet you in heaven again some day..... I love you my dear Bro.

So sorry to hear about his passing. It had been many years since I saw him. I remember when I was little he would pick me up and would tell me "sweet nothings" in my ear at church. We were all close back then. Wished our family would have stayed that close. I will always have fond memories of my sweet cousin. Love y'all.

I'm Elizabeth's sister and I have spent several great family moments with Mike. Through these experiences, he touched my heart and I thought of him as a brother. He was fun, gracious, funny, mischevious, kind, and very special. I'm so glad I got to know him. He was a brave gentlemen who put others in front of himself. Heaven has a new angel.
