Joe and I were friends and classmates at Nederland High School, and both of us were proud to have played football for Coach Bum Phillips. Joe was a kind person, and I think the Class of '56 will agree that everyone liked him. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this sad time. May he rest in peace.
