I just found the link to this guestbook reading through your booklet that I have kept since your funeral. I truly wish that I could have spent more time with you as a kid, because Lord knows I was always such a rascal and was always outside playing on your porch. I remember how I would spend hours with you looking at your old Navy Book, and that's something I will never forget. I think about you all the time, and know that you are watching over me as I right this very message. Love ou and miss you, Jacob.

We loved you and treasure the many years of friendship we had with you and your family. I will miss you very much but look forward to seeing you again in the beautiful city paved with gold. Miss Wanda will be taken care of until she meets you again also. Love Clara Whatley

Dad and I are saddened at the news of Floyd's passing. Seems like there wasn't a week that went by, that I didn't hear tales of Dad's childhood memories of Floyd and the adventures of the Pear Ridge bunch! I love hearing those stories, and Dad has kicked it up a notch, this past week, in remembering those lost times.
