Dear Linda and Family,
I am an old friend of yours from grade school days (Miss Boss's fifth and sixth grade class at Travis Elementary) in Port Arthur. My name was Sandy Vaughan then. I remember you and your mother well. She was a very sweet lady. I just want to say that I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my mother in October of 2005 after Hurricane Rita. Losing such a significant person in one's life is never easy. Please know, even after all these years, my thoughts and prayers are with you.

Though I didn't know you, I know of you through your granddaughter Cara and LeeRoy Garrett. Prayers of comfort and peace for you and your loved ones. Many folks will miss you.

My deepest condolences and prayers for everyone. She was a great woman who is enjoying her just rewards. Take care of her George!
