A lot has changed since you left. I crossed an ocean, went to Amityville, matured (sort of), and had many adventures. Several times daily I find myself wanting to ask you questions and share my stories with you. I miss you so much, Dad. But then I look in the mirror and I remember: You're in the reflection. We'll see each other soon enough. I love you so much.
Your daughter, Madeline

My condolences to Belton's family.
I just learned of Belton's passing. It would have been good for second cousins to meet.

I am shocked to hear about Belton's passing. Belton was a good guy. I too would spend all nighters at the Dobb House on Calder Ave. with Belton and the others.
I lose touch with Belton and Nanct about 1975.
Did even know Belton lived in Spring, we could been having lots of coffee.

I can't believe it! --- Belton was one of my first boyfriends and probably one of the nicest boys in high school. He gave me the biggest box of candy I ever received for my birthday sophomore year (put it in my locker as a surprise). I have such happy memories of him....and the picture is just as I remember him. Prayers to his family.

I lost touch with Belton years ago, but I was saddened to read about his passing. When we were children we lived across the street from each other. I lived on the corner of 7th and South and Belton lived with his mother and grandmother on South Street. He was two or three grades behind me and we were friends. When I think about Belton I remember he always wore a huge smile and he had a wonderful personality. I would like to offer my sympathy to his children. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Everyday I still can't believe it. Belton was a sweet, kind man and will surely be missed around Maverick. We loved to give each other a hard time and I will miss hearing the shuffling of your windbreaker coming down the hall. Rest in peace friend.

Countless late nights at the Dobbs House; hours on end cruising around in that '64 red Chevy Impala SS. The best of times old friend, wish we'd stayed closer over the years. You will be be missed, the memories will stay with us all forever.

Belton, you were truly one of a kind. I always saw you in an upbeat mood and hardly saw you frustrated. You were always in high spirits and that will be missed at Maverick. I enjoyed talkin with you always and really became fond of you checkin up on me with my school work. You always sought out for how everyone was doing and you will be missed! Rest in peace.
