Hershel Lee Hanley

I am so sorry for the loss of Hershel to his family and friends. He was a special man, and, with Fay, I was always impressed by their dignity and serenity. The video that I just viewed let me remember what a lovely and loving couple they were and how that was extended to their loving family.

I would like to send my deepest sympathy to Mr. Hershel's family. Thank you Mrs. Hanley for taking the time out of your day to call us about his passing away. That really meant a lot to me that you would call. Mom and Dad (Mildred and Hadacol)both thought so much of you and Mr. Hershel . Dad considered him one of his best friends. Mrs. Hanley, you and your family are remembered in our prayers. May God bless you.

I remember him as Coach Hanley when I was on the Little League Cubs with Reggie. He taught me a lot about baseball and life. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Uncle Hershel was a wonderful man that made all feel like family. Wish we could be there to celebrate his life with y'all.

Dear Faye and family, uncle Carrol called me yesterday about Hershel passing away. I am so sorry. My memories all go back to when we were children and all the good times we had. He was our neighbor and he will be missed. He was a good man and great father. I have many a good memory of him growing up and living next door to the Hanley's. May he Rest In Peace.

Faye & family, Jake called early this morning. So sorry to hear of his passing. Having been neighbors all those years and seeing your boys grow up with ours is something we will always treasure. There are no finer people than you two were. It was not an easy thing to move away.
