With Joy you gave your heart to the message of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. You lifted your lovely voice even as you lifted your hands leading the Choir and God's people in Praise and Worship. It has been our pleasure to visit Sour Lake First Baptist Church many times, most recently for the Christmas Music Worship Service. You brought the music together with the portrayal of the Birth of the Infant Jesus, ending with the adult Jesus welcoming us all, drawing us all to Him!!! How wonderful you are now there, right there in Heaven seeing how Glorious it truly is to be in the Family of God!!!

The Hardin-Jefferson teaching community has lost one of our brightest. Stephanie impacted her students' lives beyond the classroom. She gave each child the HOPE that their life would be better with the ability to read and write. This has been witnessed first hand and the impact is tremendous. Her students and co-teachers will miss her friendship and expertise. God be with all of you and grant you peace in the coming days.

Ken and family,
Our hearts ache and we grieve with you. We both have such warm memories of Stephanie. We can't imagine the depth of loss you feel. We pray that the Spirit of the Lord will comfort and sustain you all. As the family of faith, our abiding comfort is resurrection and the promises of Christ.
Our deepest sympathies!

I was completely shocked to hear of this sad news. I can remember Mrs. Ellzey when I was in school and to think of the lives she has touched over the years as an educator makes me smile. What a sweet lady who will be deeply missed.
Thoughts and prayers for the family during such a difficult time.

Ken I am so sorry to hear of the loss of Stephanie. It took me by total surprise, I know we have lost touch since you left Fiserv but I never forgot what a gentle soul you were. I met Stephanie a few times and she was such a sweetheart. I pray GOD gives you comfort in the days ahead and that HIS peace is overflowing for you and your children. You will be in Toby and my prayers. Love and miss you. Tee

We knew Stephanie as our neighbor and friend when she and Ken lived on Frost st. in Beaumont. She was a kind and loving mother and an excellent teacher .She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. We pray for comfort and peace for Ken and the family, and the surety of knowing that she is resting in the arms of the Lord.
