Bill was just a very personable man and a super smart individual and was always willing to help anyone who needed it at anytime. He was always our go to man at the plant.

Bill will be remembered as Mr. Dupont because he had time for anyone who walked into his office with a problem, never ever acting as if he did not have time to help you. Never did anyone speak bad about mr. bill. I can't think of anyone on Bmt. Works that was respected more and loved than mr. Bill. God bless you and people are getting in line for your help up there, RIP mr. bill we all loved you, I know all the E/C guys did.

Bill gave 100% to anyone anytime. One of the nicest fellows I ever knew. I help Bill many hours trying to make those gates and door locks work as people expected. He called me once a month to invite me to the lunch meeting and I appreciated talking with him. He was a sincere man and a pleasure to be around. Nothing phony about this fine man. I've met Bill around 1963 and always admired him. My prayers go out to his family and his DuPont family.

Bill was a friend and a fantastic engineer to work with. I consider him a mentor to me during my time working at DuPont. He had the uncanny ability to communicate his wishes about a job to you without talking down to you. He was a joy to work with and will be missed by everyone who knew him.

I had the Pleasure of talking to Dr. Bill KC5QBK most mornings on my way to work, and will miss him greatly. He was to me a vastly knowledgeable man who was always willing to share that knowledge and to encourage me to know more. Even at that early hour of the day he was willing and happy to engage in deep philosophic discussions on any number of subjects. I can look forward to resuming these conversations when I to pass over.

A whole lot of information passes away with Bill. Everyone went to him for answeres before the Internet was born. Bill knew it all or where to find it. It was a real help to be next door at work with Bill.. I don't really know how he got any work done due to the heavy traffic into his office but yet he turned out copious amounts of great work. And he must have run the longest running Hearts game in Dupont. Many Engineers came and went to that game. Willy Bill loved the game. In youger days, Bill and I played a lot of Tennis up unatil enither of us could move much anymore. While I've only seen Bill a couple of times since I moved to Lago Vista, he was still the same and did not let his ailments get him down. I was better off having know Bill and will miss him. Rest in Peace, Bill.
