I am so sorry to hear of Mary's passing. She made TCHS a lot more pleasant than it would have been. We had a lot of fun. I was blessed to know her.

Dear Scherr families, Mary will be so sadly missed by all who loved her. The older Scherr kids were our family too, and then here came Mary, same age as my sister Janie, what a joy they were and sweet , kind kids. May she rest in peace and enjoy here heavenly reward.

Martha, BJ and Tim; Melissa, Amie and families,
Would that we could all be as mild and kind as Mary Monica. Steve says that she was the quiet one; too young to actually play with but her pleasant personality did not go unnoticed. We are sorry that she had to suffer the pain of cancer and pray that she has been rewarded for her goodness, her hard work and sense of responsibility. May she live forever in our hearts and minds. Our hope is that she has found great peace and joy. God bless you.

Missy, Amie, and girls. I remember Ms Monica most when we were growing up. She made sure to keep us all in line but love us all like we were here. I remember the brownie mixes and books and wearing her robe ask day on her days off. I will miss her so much. So happy to have made memories with this beautiful lady. Love you all

My younger sister Mary has been a blessing to all of us from the beginning. Only six years older than our eldest daughter, Mary became "an older sister" to our four daughters and son. They spent hours playing house and dress up in Mom's attic..minus Joel, of course. He was probably skateboarding. Mary's relaxed, jovial personality put everyone at ease. Mary was a loving provider for her daughters and husband.
