Reverend Alfred John Badeen

With a heavy heart we mourn the loss of a great man. But as Father John would say "Put it in Gods hands" he was a great man and guided our family with love and understanding through the good times and the bad, and I know my family will look forward to the time when he guides us through the gates of heaven with his arms open and his unforgettable smile! The Badeen family will be in our prayers and thoughts. May his memory be eternal!

You were a kind and gentle shepherd. Guiding us with love and strength. We know God has welcomed you into the gates of heaven, and that you will be there to welcome your flock.

It is with great sorrow that we got the news of the passing of Father Badeen. He is a role model for all of us. He makes us all proud of our heritage. We will miss him dearly.
May God rest his soul with the angels in Heaven.

To my knowledge, I was the last seminarian, deacon and priest sponsored by Fr. John. He was always very good to me and my family. It is an humbling privilege to serve the funeral of such a kind, generous and God-loving man and priest. He (and you all) have been in my prayers for many, many years, and shall continue to be. May his memory be eternal and may God grant each of us long life.
